One of three comfortable apartments, built in a renovated Catalan farmhouse apartment on the ground floor, but slightly elevated for two to three people, located quietly at the back of the old farmhouse, a building of the nineteenth century. It includes a living room, a dining room with kitchenette, overlooking a terrace shaded by a pergola and a small private garden. It also includes a bedroom (1 double) with ensuite bathroom (shower Italian). Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. El Portal is a farmhouse of the early nineteenth century renovated and decorated with the greatest attention, the edge of a small picturesque village at the foot of the Pyrenees, near Ceret and Collioure, Vives. With Mount Canigou as a majestic backdrop, Vives is nestled amid rolling vineyards, forests of cork oaks and pines, while remaining very accessible, 10 minutes from the motorway (A9) 10 minutes from a swimming lake and 25 minutes from the Mediterranean. Our region is rich in historical, artistic, musical stories, experiences in wine and abundance of trails invites you to hiking, biking, or any other activity related to nature.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Frederic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
