Description

An ideal location to work on your suntan and pick up new windsurfing skills during summer. If that is not you, even better, you can work on your art hobbies during the quiet off-season in spring and autumn. The flat is in the pretty fishing village of Vrboska, known as Little Venice, with cafés, restaurants, and convenience stores and beaches within walking distance. Renowned as a sailing destination, you can scuba dive, windsurf or just lay in the sun with a book.

All visitors first notice the beautiful smell of the island. Home of naturally grown lavender, on Hvar there are virtually no flies, mosquitoes or other insects to bother your stay. You can decide to change your sunbathing place every day as all water side roads have wild beaches where you can go by yourself and be alone for the entire afternoon if you so choose. For those who love it in the nude, there are plenty of opportunities.

The flat is on the first floor of a house and can easily accommodate two couples. The main attraction is the terrace from where you can see the fish under the boats while you are having your coffee or glass of wine, as it stays in the shade most of the day.

The two double bedrooms are spacious and airy and freshly decorated by a local artist. I know that you might not come here to cook, but that open plan kitchen is wonderful! The dining area is cosy and rustic and you can always take your plate outside on the terrace to see the fish jumping out of the water.

I set aside a smaller room - the reading room, as one guest called it - to catch up with your emails farther away from the sun. It is the cooler room of the house in the summer and that is where the books are. It could be a third bedroom at a push as the coach can be converted into a small bed.

The main bathroom has a second separate toilet for convenience. The house is fully furnished and ready to be lived in as your own home. It includes washer/dryer, microwave oven, dishwasher, big fridge, hair dryer, room coolers, etc., all electrical (no gas).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
