Our air-conditioned studio apartment Hvar for 2 people is bright,clean and comfy. It consists of a kitchenette, bathroom, large bedroom and a balcony with an amazing sea view. In the kitchenette you'll find a fridge(with a tiny built-in freezer), stove, coffeemaker and kitchenware,and a full set of dishes and cookware. To escape doing your own cooking there are many fine and inexpensive restaurants within a fifteen minute walk. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet, sink and a mirror. You will find it clean and with fresh towels. The bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, built-in-wardrobe, air conditioning unit, armchair and 2 bedside cabinets. From the bedroom you have access to balcony where you can spend time relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. It will make you feel like you are sitting out in nature.
You will surely appreciate free Wi-Fi internet access in your apartment, your own parking space by the house, and a large shared terrace where you may spend time alone or with your friends/ other guests should you choose so. We also offer mooring for your boat, for a small additional fee. If you are into biking, you’ll sure want to know that there are many biking routes and trails on the island.
The studio apartment is located in a small and friendly neighbourhood of 15 houses in verdant, lush green surroundings; just 50 meters away from pebble beach and the pristine Adriatic Sea. If you favor sandy beaches, the nearest one is 400 meters away from the apartment. Our house is merely 1km from town Vrboska, and 2 km from somewhat larger town Jelsa with all facilities you might need: tourist information centres, range of excellent yet affordable restaurants, pizzerias,traditional taverns, pubs, discos, cafes, confectioneries, booths, retail shops, supermarkets, bakeries, tennis courts, playgrounds, banks, parks, rent a car/bike/boat/scooter agencies , pharmacy, doctor and the post office.

If you travel by car or bus you need to reach Split or Drvenik in central Dalmatia, where you can take a ferry to island Hvar or catamaran to Jelsa(90 minutes). Ferries Split - Stari Grad (island Hvar), and Drvenik - Sućuraj (island Hvar) take cars.
If you go by plane, the closest local and international airport is Split and then you need to take a local bus, rent a car, or take a taxi to ferry port Split, or come directly from Split airport to Jelsa (island Hvar) with a hydroplane (11 minute flight) with European Coastal Airlines.
There are also international ferry lines to Stari Grad( island Hvar) coming from Italy.
From Split you can take car ferry to Stari Grad (105 minutes), or from Drvenik (south of Makarska) to Sućuraj on Hvar island (25 minutes).
Villa Ema is closer to ferry port Stari Grad (20 km) than ferry port Sućuraj ( 80km ). Sućuraj port is more suitable if you are coming from the direction of Dubrovnik amd Split if you are coming from central Europe. You can buy ferry tickets online on Jadrolinija's website
Also, you can take into account the frequency of departures;
during summer, ferry from Split to Stari Grad sails 4-7 times a day and from Drvenik to Sucuraj 12-20 times.
