From the owner

Villa Amidala is airy, spacious place, with a small garden area. One third of the garden is actually a swimming pool.

Hand carved furniture with Kupang motifs give the entire villa a very unique appearance. Apart from spending time in the refreshing swimming pool, you'll also be able to relax in the 5-seater Jacuzzi on the terrace, while your dinner sizzles on the garden barbecue.

There are three rooms available. The downstairs room is a private room with a bathroom and swimming pool view.

The two bedrooms upstairs are perfect for families, since the bathroom is located between the rooms and can be accessed from both bedrooms. Of course, the access to the bathroom can be closed off from either direction in case the rooms are not used by a family. All rooms have air conditioning.

The villa is located in Waingapu's wealthy area. Your neighbors will be working in government offices and possess very prestigious positions. For the western eyes this might not seem so, from the look of the houses in the neighborhood, however don't forget, you are visiting a very under developed Island.

There's no Taxi and no public transport in Waingapu / Sumba. We have some mopeds available for rent and a Suzuki Jeep. We'll organize your pickup from the airport, to make sure you are not stolen from us.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Klara (the owner) a message.

    If Klara (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
