A detached period 3 bedroom cottage, nestled in the delightful village of Warham, just 4 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea beach.

Chapel Cottage Norfolk can sleep up to 6 guests in comfort. Offering a spacious secluded garden with off street parking and electric vehicle charging point. It is just a short walk to the village pub. Chapel Cottage is perfectly situated for family holidays & romantic rural getaways.

* 3 light & airy bedrooms.

* 2 living rooms with separate dining room and kitchen.

LIVING SPACE

The spacious ground floor offers:

* Dining room with farmhouse table & six chairs.

* Well-equipped Kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster & washing machine.

* Two sitting rooms: The Living Room with seating for four, log-burning stove, LCD smart TV, FreeSat & Blu-ray player. The Reading Room with sofa, armchairs, LCD Smart TV and games cupboard.

* Downstairs shower-room with large shower & toilet. Coat-hooks & boot storage.

BEDROOMS

Two staircases lead to the first floor with three bedrooms & bathroom in the eaves of the cottage:

* Master bedroom with king-sized bed.

* Double bedroom with double divan.

* Twin bedroom with two single beds (best suited to children due to bedroom configuration).

* Bathroom with roll-top bath and handheld shower.

GARDEN & PARKING

The secluded garden is mostly laid to lawn, with flowerbeds with patio, table and chairs. To the side of the cottage is a gravelled driveway with space for two cars and an EV Charging Point. Guests may store their bikes safely in the cycle shed.

* Oil fired central heating. A starter pack of logs & kindling provided in colder months for the log-burner.

* Arrival is after 2pm and departure by 10am. Access is via a key safe.

NOTES

As with older character cottages, Chapel Cottage has kite-winder stairs which are enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. They are uncarpeted, with rope banister & handrail.

There are many changes in level between rooms and out into the garden. The height of doorways vary, reflecting the age of the cottage 7 modifications made over the centuries.

The kite-winder stairs leading to the master bedroom may not be suitable for older guests, younger children or those with limited mobility. Chapel Cottage does benefit from a second staircase which leads to the double bedroom & is more modern in design.

LOCATION

Centrally located in the village of Warham, the cottage is a 100 yards from the Warham Horseshoes pub offering cooked food all year round.

From Chapel Cottage you can walk to the salt marshes of Warham Greens or plot a longer route along the Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path toward Stiffkey or Wells-next-the-Sea.

For those wanting a less energetic option the Iron Age fort of Warham Camp or Carpenters Arms at Wighton make a perfect leg stretch.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
