Description

Set in beautiful green countryside and only a short drive from Pulbourough, Mill House on the Brooks is a fantastic getaway for all the family, a group getaway, wedding or celebration.

With four beautifully designed bedrooms and en suite bathrooms this holiday cottage is an experience as well as just a holiday. The materials and items furnishing the rooms are all originally sourced and have many stories to tell so please do ask for more information when you are there!

The large open plan, living, dining and kitchen area is a fantastic space to entertain and self-cater during your stay. Outside there is plentiful grounds to enjoy the great outdoors or dine in the garden. While not out at a local eatery the kitchen has everything you will need to self-cater during your stay including, cooker, toaster, kettle, pots / pans and all necessary utensils.

Each bedroom has its own en suite and combination of doubles and single beds. Please ask for further details.

Things to do nearby -

Bird watching from bed or stroll down to the river bank; be active or be passive. Treasure wonderful walks, explore this part of the South Downs National Park or make this year's finish point the nearby Rother Valley Walk.

Champagne and wine vineyards, three golf courses, gliding. BMX, Goodwood, Brighton all handy home, sounding to hectic. Relax. Put the barbie on.

Enjoy the history by taking a five minute walk to the local Saxon church in Hardham, which has some of the oldest wall paintings in the country.

Castles a short drive away – Chichester and Arundel Cathedrals or take a walk in the woods, and discover the hidden pleasure of the most densely wooded county. Find the woods locally that inspired “Morning Has Broken” and understand why The Rossettis, Eric Gill, D.H Lawrence, The Rolling Stones and Elgar all stayed or lived locally.

The immediate wetland wildflower meadows are stunning when in bloom and captivating when underwater in the winter.

Local beaches are just a short drive away; Clymping or the sand dunes of West Beach, Littlehampton, are about 20 minutes away, while West Wittering is reachable within half an hour.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
