From the owner

Stewarts House holiday cottages comprising Coach and Stable, are located on the edge of the ancient village of Week St Mary with it's pretty church, village shop, and pub. Nestled in the hills looking towards Bude Bay, you can escape the traffic and enjoy the peace and serenity of the Cornish countryside.

With two adjoining cottages each sleeping 6, we can offer accommodation from 2-12 guests.

In Coach Cottage, 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor along with the shower/ w.c. The double bedroom steps out onto a west facing patio and towards the parking area. One flight of stairs lead to a spacious open plan lounge/diner and kitchen area with vaulted and beamed ceilings. A stepping balcony looks out over beautiful views and brings the outside indoors.

A secluded east facing walled garden is laid to lawn and decking where both cottages have their front doors. Both cottages look out over the west facing patio leading to the parking area and games room with table tennis and a pool table. There is a washing machine here too. Wifi upgrade to superfast broadband from April 2020.

Coach Cottage is one of two cottages in this barn conversion. Both cottages are similar and are well equipped to a three star standard.

The layout is up side down with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living room on the first floor. The open plan first floor area is spacious and full of light with comfortable furnishings, solid pine furniture and carpeted flooring. The 3 bedrooms on the ground floor have fitted cupboards, and some solid pine chests. The double bedroom has a small vanity sink. The double bed has a good quality 4'6 wide mattress, the twin beds are 3' wide and the bunk beds are narrower at 2'6 wide. All bedrooms are carpeted ( new carpets in 2020). There's a modern white shower/ w.c with stone tiled flooring.

The Cottages are surrounded by the grounds of Stewarts house and farm land with distant sea views. Situated on a quiet lane only 5 minutes walk from the village.
Both cottages share a beautiful walled garden and west facing patio.
Solid wood patio furniture allows for outside dining along with BBQ equipment.
The games room has space to store surf and beach equipment if required.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gaynor (the owner) a message.

If Gaynor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
