Sihinaya Villa is our, new to the rental market, Boutique Full Service Holiday Villa. It is a beautiful, newly renovated, traditional 100 year old antique house in a beachside location in Weligama, one of the worlds top diving and surfing hotspots.

Sihinaya translates in Sinhala to "Dream" and Sihinaya is truly a "Dream" property.

It has being lovingly renovated by craftsmen, to a very high standard and decorated and furnished in a luxurious but comfortable style, keeping the needs of our guests in mind at all times.

The Villa is fully staffed including Chef , Housekeeper, Steward, night time Security and Our Manager who all work from the separate staff quarters located in the grounds of the villa. They work in a very discreet manner ensuring the privacy and relaxation of our guests at all times.

The Villa has four air conditioned bedrooms with gorgeous handmade beds and furniture made from locally sourced wood.

We have three en suite bathrooms with open to the sky showers and a private outdoor courtyard bathroom with a luxurious free standing bathtub.

A large living area at the rear of the villa is open to the garden and pool area. The large handcrafted dining table seats 10 comfortably, whilst our well equipped Villa kitchen can be used by our guests should they wish to self cater. We have provided a large comfortable seating area with handloomed cushions to complete this area.

The garden is secluded and private and has a stunning pool pavilion with bar area and seating, satellite TV and a changing room with toilet facilities.

We have provided numerous sunbeds and parasols in our tropical gardens which extend around the property. The gardens are visited by native birds, peacocks and the occasional passing monkey!

Breakfast is included in the rental cost and other meals, drinks and snacks can be lovingly prepared by our in house chef from a menu and are charged separately. Whilst we do not sell alcoholic drinks at Sihinaya, our staff are happy to purchase beers and wines from the village on your behalf for your own consumption.

The villa is beautifully appointed and has a comfortably luxurious, private and tranquil atmosphere. Positioned in a beautifully quite area, although just a few minutes from the local town Weligama, with all its facilities.

Our Villa is Suitable for families, couples or friendship groups wishing to have the exclusive use of the villa and the services of its trained staff.

Airport pick ups and tours and excursions can be arranged by our Manager upon request.

We can also provide additional fold away beds for two kids up to the age of 11 and a baby cot. These will need to be placed in bedrooms and must be paid for on site. Please ask for details. These will be available at a cost of £10 a night each in Value and Low Season and £20 a night each in high and peak season and can be paid for at Villa on checkout.

Guests guests are limited and managed by the Villa Management for suitability and numbers. No unauthorised over night guests allowed.
Anyone under the influence of strong alcohol/drugs will be asked to leave the villa, no refunds will be issued.
We have a zero tolerance of abusive language or aggressive behaviour towards our staff. Perpetrators will be removed from the villa. Smoking only in garden.

Why can't I call Debrah (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Debrah (the owner) a message.

If Debrah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
