From the owner

The Runaway Pineapple is an Eco friendly lodge with a large deck space, living room, kitchen, loft and master bedroom . It sleeps 4 comfortably with a max of 5. The cupola offers one of the best ocean views in the West End area. The lower level features a wash station, outdoor shower and laundry hanging area. The lodge Is run on solar power ,water is gravity fed at natural temperatures. Located hillside1/2 mile from West End Village , the grounds are filled with wildlife and plants, it is peaceful and quiet with a short walk to all activities. Please be aware the lodge and grounds require up hill walking and a four wheel drive vehicle to access. Some railings and are open and there are several stairways ,may not be suitable for small children or those with limited mobility.

Some railings and walkways are open and not currently suitable for small children. The home is located on a hill with several sets of stairs and may not be accessible for those with limited mobility. Our home is built with wood and smoking is not permitted within the structure. We are powered by solar and currently do not have hot water. Please feel free to make use of all supplies and accessories , future guests would appreciate you leave all items in a clean condition when you leave.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Shelley (the owner) a message.

If Shelley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
