These elegantly refurbished stables have been designed to maximise on the far-reaching views and to provide comfortable and chic accommodation for 2+. The Stables has its own private drive, a secluded garden and a swimming pool shared with the owners. It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is within the South Downs National Park which makes this a perfect place for a quiet holiday, is well located yet there is plenty to do locally.

There is a plethora of activities on the doorstep which include swimming, tennis, golf, riding, fishing, cycling and a wealth of beautiful walks all within 5 minutes from The Stable in the village of West Meon voted by The Times in March 2013 as the Best Village in the UK. West Meon has a village shop, a butcher, internet cafe and an award winning gastro pub, The Thomas Lord.

Slightly further afield (30 mins) are the beaches of West Wittering, the historic city of Winchester with its cathedral, King Arthur's round table, many shops and fine dining and car and foot ferries to the Isle of Wight. There are also several National Trust Houses close by in the area. London is an hour by train and it is just 10 minutes drive to the nearest train station, Petersfield. Southampton Airport is 30 minsutes away, whilst Heathrow and Gatwick are only an hour and 75 minutes respectively.

This property is highly versatile and would suit both a romantic couple and has also been designed to accommodate those in wheelchairs with its wide doorways and wet room, with ease of access to the patio and swimming pool. All the rooms are vaulted and have beams which gives this property a great sense of space and light.

The kitchen is spacious, and new, and includes all mod cons to make your stay restful and it enjoys magnificent views over to Beacon Hill 4 miles away. Sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! The bathroom is state-of-the-art, has two basins, a double ended bath, walk-in shower, 4 windows and underfloor heating.

There is a generous welcome pack, fresh linen and fluffy towels which await your arrival.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Vanessa (the owner) a message.

If Vanessa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
