Marigold is a detached chalet located on Tregonhawke Cliff, Whitsand Bay. This unique and beautiful location is considered one of Cornwall’s hidden gems… The award-winning Whitsand Bay offers three miles of glorious sandy beach, with good surfing, Adventure Bay Surf School, seasonal Life Guards and a café. The South West Coast Path runs the length of the bay and beyond; and an abundance of interesting places to visit, family attractions and great eateries are also within easy reach.

Marigold can be found looking out to sea, near the top of the cliff and the charming Cliff Top Café. The perfect spot in all seasons for either a tranquil getaway, an adventure or simply a base to explore this stunning part of South East Cornwall and beyond.

The chalet is comfortable, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. There is heating and Wi-Fi throughout. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided. Children and babies are very welcome; with a cot & highchair on request, an enclosed garden with trampoline and various toys available.

• Open-plan living/dining room: wood-burner, Smart TV, Freeview, DVD/Blu-ray, iPod dock/CD stereo/radio, PlayStation 2, family games and unlimited broadband (throughout).

• Fitted kitchen: oven, induction hob, extractor fan, fridge-freezer, slimline dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, cupboard storage and bench seating.

• Washing machine and tumble drier also available.

• Two bedrooms (sleep 4 + cot): The master bedroom has a 5' king-size bed, TV/DVD & hairdryer. There is a further twin-bedded room.

• Children & babies welcome: cot & highchair available on request (cot linen not provided).

• Linen: quality bed linen, towels and tea-towels provided (please bring own towels for use on the beach).

• Bathroom: sink, shower-over-bath & WC.

• Hall area: space for coats, boots & storage.

• Garden: Good-sized and enclosed garden (mostly grass) with picnic bench and charcoal barbecue. A raised decked area with bench provides stunning panoramic sea views, from Rame Head to the East, to Looe Island to the West. There is also a useful store for guest’s beach/surfing/fishing/diving gear.

• Parking: Available along the roadside at the top of the cliff. Although the cliff is traffic-free, an area to load/unload luggage can also be found approx 50 yards from the property.

Marigold chalet was a delight . Clean, very well equipped and excellent situation for the beach . Lisa was a wonderful host and helped us immediately we had a tiny problem . Can’t wait to return

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Lisa & Martin (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa & Martin (the owner) a message.

If Lisa & Martin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
