From the owner

Chalet 37 is a two bedroom chalet bungalow on a lovely family-friendly site looking over Widemouth Bay. It is in a quiet position with farmland to the rear.

The facilities on site are not available this year unfortunately due to a change in management. A tapas van and pizza oven visit the car park weekly.

A footpath leads down to a safe, child-friendly, sandy beach with easy access to cafes, snack bar, surf board hire and many more activities.

There is an excellent hotel (Widemouth Manor) only 5 minutes walk away from the site. This offers good quality food and has fantastic views across the bay. Sunsets are especially fabulous from here.

Interaction with guest

We aim to adhere to strict Covid-19 cleaning and hygiene regulations and our chalet will be thoroughly cleaned between lets. There is a barbecue for the use of guests, plus outside table and chairs. Electricity is by coin meter in cupboard above cooker. £1 and £2 coins will be needed. We also provide a trolley for the use of guests, assisting them in the transport of their personal belongings to the chalet along the footpath.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carolyn (the owner) a message.

If Carolyn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
