Beach House Pietermaai is a real urban oasis, with plenty of space, tranquility and privacy for the ultimate holiday feeling or romantic honeymoon!

You’ll find this hidden gem between Punda and Pietermaai. It’s located in a historical building oceanfront with your own private pool, different seating areas, 2 ocean view bedrooms and a large kitchen with all amenities.

A Sonos-sound system, smart internet TV in living- and bedroom, AC in living- and bedroom, laptop safe, hammock, outdoor shower and BBQ are provided.

Beach House Pietermaai is suitable for 4 persons. A separate bed- and bath room is located ocean front. Ideal for 2 couples or families with 2 or more children. Besides the bedrooms, children can sleep on the large comfortable sleeping sofa in the living room (with airco). (Also baby crib available).

Also provided: hamam beach towels, beach bag, cool box for a nice day on the beach, for example the beautiful Cas Abao Beach!

In the master en suite bath room you will find the walk in closet, separate toilet, two sinks, large mirror and a double rain shower.

Beach House Pietermaai is located in the culinary Pietermaai District, part of the Unesco World Heritage. Enjoy shopping downtown Punda, walking over the floating bridge, musea and the best restaurants and much more to explore: all on walking distance.

Cleaning: Beach House Pietermaai has always been thoroughly cleaned; we clean with disinfectants and a Karcher steam cleaner. We also always use extra cushion protection covers and quality mattress protectors as standard and everything is cleaned at the highest temperatures. We also follow the guidelines from RIVM (Europe) and WHO.

You will be welcomed by Cindy and David. We will show you the apartment, hand over the keys and the manual with a lot of information and answer your questions. We are always reachable during your stay, by email, phone, whats app. To help you with recommendations for restaurants, advice for a car rental, make reservations for tours etc. We live at the street side of the building. Upon arrival you'll receive the Pietermaai Pocket Guide, with a map of this historic area and all the cozy restaurants you can find at walking distance of your Beach House Pietermaai.

Why can't I call Cindy & David (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cindy & David (the owner) a message.

If Cindy & David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
