Datura Villa sits perched on 9 acres and offers panoramic views of Montego Bay, has the amenities of a fine hotel and yet offers affordable luxury, privacy, and close proximity to all tourist activities, nightlife, and the airport.

The large terrace overlooks the large swimming pool and hot tub. Also on the grounds are a tennis court, fitness center, pool house, tropical gardens and fruit trees of Mango, Orange, banana, coconut, lemon, allspice, and breadfruit.

Included in the rental is a full staff consisting of cook, housekeeper, maid, caretaker, and our property manger/concierge.

All bedrooms offer air conditioning, 4 poster beds, private baths, ceiling fans, and plantation style windows. Rooms are cleaned daily. Fresh linens, bath, pool and beach towels are provided.

Meals are served in our screened in dining room, on the grand terrace, poolside, or under the almond tree. Coffee and fresh muffins are ready at 6:30 AM. Meals are customized to guest and dietary preferences and always freshly prepared. Our kitchen is modern, commercial and has 2 refrigerators, one guest refrigerator for drinks and wine, a big ice maker, 2 blenders, microwave, 2 freezers and all appliances.

Also on the property is a private fitness center with Life Cycle equipment. Our groundskeeper is also a trained fitness and yoga instructor who offers complementary workouts and are custom tailored. At night, the fitness center turns into a state-of-the art theater with an 8 foot screen, DVD projector, and 5:1 surround sound. Popcorn included!

Datura is also a member of both the Montego Bay Yacht Club and Seawind Beach Club. Our villa membership gives all of our guests free admittance to the Seawind beach, including beach chairs and umbrellas. There is also a large swimming pool, bar service, the Calypso restaurant (20% discount for dinner) showers, changing rooms, and water sports (Parasailing, Tubing,Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Banana Boat Ride, Glass bottom Boat Ride, Snorkeling Trips, Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Hobie Wave, Windsurfing, Scuba Diving).

Our Montego Bay Yacht Club offers our guests free use of the two tennis courts, a lounge, bar, pool table and waterside dining with a 20% discount.

Datura is located only 7 miles from the airport and so from plane to pool is fast and easy. There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive, along with 5 golf courses, river rafting, zip line, water sports, shopping dining, nightlife and casino.

This is the perfect spot for families, honeymoons, and groups of friends to relax and play.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Randel (the owner) a message.

If Randel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
