SHORT BREAKS - 2 night min stay required (no check in available Sunday)

Beautiful vaulted ceilings and exposed wood provides a tranquil and relaxing setting. Fully equipped kitchen and open plan living and dinning area with cosy fire place, smart TV and sound system all furnished to 5 star gold award standard. Living room opens out on to a private balcony with hot tub, private balcony and views over looking the private putting green and ancient woodland. Situated on an 18 hole Championship Golf Course and only 3 miles from historic Winchester's city centre. Golf club house restaurant and bar are just a short walk from the front door. A complimentary welcome tray with locally sourced produce awaits you on arrival. Why not book an afternoon tea or beauty treatment in the comfort of your lodge for that extra treat!

Private parking for at least 2 cars, excellent transport links to London, New Forest and South Coast. Peppa Pig World, Marwell Zoo, Portsmouth Historic Docks, Bournemouth Beaches, New Forest National Park, are just a few local attractions all within 30 mins of our lodges

The Lodge in detail:

Living area- The vaulted ceiling and exposed log walls of the open plan living dining area provide a relaxing and stylish room for relaxing and entertaining. An electric log burner effect stove provides a cozy and warm environment to kick back and unwind. The lodges are heated throughout and are lovely and warm even when its chilly outside. The living area leads out onto a large private decked balcony with views out onto the ancient woodland and private putting green.

Hot Tub- set into the private decking our hot tubs offer the ultimate luxury and perfect added extra for a special break away. Fully maintained throughout your stay all you need to do is kick back and enjoy come rain or shine!

Multi media- Large LCD flat screen SMART TV in the Lounge area and another TV located in the master bedroom. A stylish Bluetooth speaker system is also available in the living area. Free WiFi access is available in every lodge.

Kitchen- A complimentary tea tray awaits you with locally produced goodies, including fresh milk, tea and ground coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and laundry facilities

Bedrooms- The two bedrooms are light and airy and with beautiful soft furnishings and luxury bed linen and towels. The en-suite master bedroom is presented as a king size bed but can also be arranged as two singles beds on request, the second and third bedroom are arranged as twin rooms. , the second bedroom is a twin room. The master bedroom has the added benefit of a flat screen TV. Hairdryers are also provided in each bedroom.

Bathrooms- All our lodges offer two bathrooms, a family bathroom with bath and over head shower as well as an en-suite shower room. Soft fluffy towels are provided as well as luxury, locally produced toiletries from Lavender Log Barn.

Outside and access

All our lodges have a private decked balcony opening out from the living area with views of the ancient woodland or guest putting green. Outdoor furniture, putters and golf balls are provided for guests to enjoy our putting green during their stay. Each lodge has its own BBQ stand suitable for use with a disposable BBQ pack. BBQ utensils and lighters are provided.

All our lodges are accessed via a ramp from the private parking area. Once inside the accommodation is arranged over one level.

Parking

Private parking for two cars is by the front door of each lodge. Some overflow parking is also available on site on request.

Self Catering

To make your arrival as easy as possible all major supermarkets deliver to our lodges. We are also just 2 miles from a Sainsbury's supermarket and local butcher and bakery (Oliver's Battery). If you would rather take a break from cooking why not book one of our delicious meals offer on our 'dinners to your door' menu. Or book a beautiful English afternoon tea on arrival, served on bone china and three tiered cake stand. (menus available on request)

Our two bedroom lodges offer 2 twin rooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite in master room). The en-suite master bedroom is presented as a king size bed but can also be arranged as two singles beds on request, the second bedroom is arranged as twin rooms. )

The Kitchen is fully equipped to a five star standard with dishwasher, oven, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Each lodge has its own private balcony overlooking the woodland or private putting green. BBQ facilities available.

We do have a number of dog friendly lodges (available on request- £30 supplement/ week or short break) and we can provide cots and highchairs free of charge on request also.

Each lodge has a large decked balcony arranged around a private putting green for guests to enjoy (putters and balls provided.) As we are located in the centre of South Winchester Golf Club the golf course and club house facilities are on offer to our guests, these included restaurant, bar, conference room, sun terrace, 18 hole championship golf course, driving range and short game practice area.

What a great place!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
