Beckside-lodge is a privately owned, 3 bedroomed traditional pine log cabin on the shores of Lake Windermere. Entrance to lodge is via a ramp for ease of access. Ideal for families with children and pet friendly. **Minimum stay midweek is 4 nights.

Set in the most idyllic and scenic location in the heart of the Lake District National Park, and nestling 2.5 miles centrally between the towns of Windermere and Ambleside, the lodge is set within an exclusive 4-star award winning holiday park.

Perfectly positioned for a relaxing peaceful holiday, but within easy reach of the bustling towns and visitor attractions this delightful part of the country has to offer and all only a 30 minute drive from junction 36 of the M6.

Accommodation comprises of; Gas central heating with electric fire. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, shared on-site laundry facilities (coin operated), dishwasher, 43" Ultra HD Smart TV, upscaling DVD player, selection of dvd's, books and games. Fuel and power included in rent. Bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair available free on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Decked terrace patio with furniture.

On-site small shop and lounge/restaurant 2 mins walk.

Note: Although all ground floor, the property is accessed via ramp access. PLEASE NOTE - Mobile phone coverage and WiFi signal can be intermittent. Guests must provide vehicle registration to the site reception for ANPR access to the site. Use of leisure facilities, e.g. swimming pool, sauna etc at the cost determined by Parkdean Resorts for the duration of the stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kevin (the owner) a message.

If Kevin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
