Spacious and stylishly furnished to a high standard, this south facing duplex apartment with stunning sea views is set in a tranquil and convenient position within an exclusive development in beautiful landscaped grounds with swimming pool, bar/ restaurant, two tennis courts and windmill. The complex is located on a hill and has spectacular views across Albufeira, the sea and surrounding hills. It is only 10 minutes walk from vibrant Albufeira Old Town and beaches and a similar distance from the new Albufeira Marina; ideally located for those who like to be within easy walking distance of excellent facilities, while still enjoying a relaxing holiday away from it all.
The apartment has 3 terraces: There is a South facing terrace between the ground floor and first floor to the front of the house with magnificent sea views and views over Albufeira. This is an amazing sun trap as it gets the sun all day. It has 2 sun recliners and side tables. The second terrace is on the top floor off the master bedroom and provides views over the landscaped gardens, pool and windmill and views over Albufeira beyond. Additionally, there is a good sized private patio on the ground floor off the lounge giving access to the beautiful gardens, shared pool with separate shower and toilet facilities and the poolside bar/restaurant. This has table and seating for 4 and has a built in barbeque. You will be spoilt for choice of terraces on which to sunbathe, enjoy al fresco dining, take in the stunning views all round or simply watch the sun go down while enjoying a glass of local wine.
The apartment offers everything you need for a self-catering base to explore the Algarve; a real home from home. It is on two floors, with no apartments above or below, and therefore has the feel of a townhouse. Living areas are open plan and spacious. The kitchen/ dining area was refurbished in April 2015 with new fitted units and new appliances and is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and has a dining table seating four. The large lounge has patio doors leading out to the patio. It has two double leather sofabeds, a small put u up single bed and an armchair and coffee table, together with 40” Flat screen SMART TV, some UK Channels, Free WIFI, iphone speaker , DVD and CD player. In the recently refurbished separate bathroom, there is a separate shower cubicle, as well as a shower over the bath, and WC and wash basin (with large mirror over vanity unit), and there is also a downstairs cloakroom. There are ample built-in wardrobes (with safe inside) in the Master bedroom, together with a dressing table, chair and mirror, as well as the double bed and bedside tables. Lounge and bedroom are fully air conditioned/ heated.
The well-established, landscaped gardens are beautifully maintained, with plenty of mature palm trees, fruit trees and shrubs; the complex is awash with colour for most of the year. The Windmill has been lovingly restored and sits alongside the swimming pool and bar/restaurant where a little music in the background is the perfect accompaniment to a light meal or refreshing cool drink.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Rob's apartment. Stayed here with 2 kids aged 13 & 9 who thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The apartment is very spacious and feels like a home from home . A short walk to the old town and Marina was no problem, more effort required on way back but worth it for the views. Overall fabulous holiday and would recommend if thinking of Albuferia as it is in a quieter location but close to the busier old town, beach and marina. Thanks.

We have stayed in Windmill Hill numerous times, but have to say this was the best we have stayed in Apartment has everything you could wish for and spotless.No problems whatsoever ,even managed to check in early .From booking to arriving Everything was made so easy .Thanks Rob B.Also we met a couple who were staying at another apartment here,they saw ours and have already booked for next October 2019.They were very impressed by the high standards of this apartment.Cannot think of one negative whatsoever

“A lovely Retreat”
We stayed in Robs place from 8th-15th February 2018. all in all this apartment was great and perfect for a winters break. it had everything we required with two young children to keep them occupied. DVD player, games etc. all amenities we required, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker. i would advise anyone coming to albuferia during the winter months to be prepared, know whats on around the resort and what areas to go as in the winter months there is a few selected areas where people go and the rest is dead as a door nail. i would advise anyone to make the trip on "carnival week". we took the bus to loule for the carnival and what a day out it was! our pool was shut so if you have young kids make sure you know where the indoor pools are and if you can use them. the apartment is a ten minute walk from the old town in which you can get the small tram to the new town, the hill wasnt a problem for us as we prepaired the walk up in the evening as exercise, but it is quite hilly so be prepared for a bit of exercise or its taxis! we would hope to stay here again and cant wait for more carnivals next feb!

“Home from Home”
I stayed here with my husband and 2 daughters (18 & 10). We absolutely loved everything about the apartment. It had everything you could want and its closeness to the pool was a bonus. Rob & Gill were great to deal with and made the booking and payment process so easy. We would highly recommend a stay at this apartment to anybody and have told friends and family about it. If we return to Albufeira we would love to stay here again.

“Excellent apt with all facilities in a lovely location”
Lovely apartment in an excellent location in the complex. Having stayed in two other apartments in windmill hill this would be our favourite. Spacious with two balconies and a patio with fantastic views we were spoilt for choice. The apartment had everything we needed. We will be back!
“Perfect base for Albufeira”
We've just returned from this accommodation and found it to be the perfect base for a holiday in Albufeira. It is a 5 minute walk down to the Old Town/beach where there are no shortage of bars and restaraunts. If you don't feel like walking back up hill taxis are readily available. It is also 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The house itself is a great size, is nicely decorated and was spotlessly clean. In the kitchen there is a full cooker/oven, large fridge and plenty of utensils. The balconies and patio are all of good size and could easily accomodate 4 chairs. The built in BBQ on the ground floor patio is a nice touch. This patio also looks out over the well kept gardens and pool area. We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate going back again or recommending to family or friends. Rob, the owner, was great to communicate with and very helpful.
“Perfect apartment for a quiet, spacious holiday”
We spent a week here at the beginning of June, and loved it. The apartment was clean and spacious, loads of room for 2 people, 2 balconies and a patio with BBQ. The pool is great for a lazy afternoon, and local supermarket only 5mins walk - even has English tea! For us the location was perfect, close to the old town and beach and away from the touristy strip - though it is uphill, so you need to be happy to walk! We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Good layout of the apartment. Well furnished. Good kitchen facilities for own meals and close to town for meals out. The latter is an easy walk out but tiring return because of the slope of the streets.
“What a fantastic holiday!!”
Myself, my husband and my two boys had a wonderful holiday at Windmill Hill and our apartment was in a perfect location within the complex. The apartment itself was very spacious with great storage for all of us considering it was a one bedroomed apartment. It was well equiped for all your needs, it even had a tv with BBC 1 so my husband could watch the olympics, so really home from home!! We also had the choice of eating on two balconies with great views or the terrace with a view of the pool. My two boys aged 3 and 9 had a wonderful holiday, met lots of friends who they intend to keep in contact with. I think this means that we are already thinking about returning next year so thank you Rob & Gill for a lovely holiday!
