Description

This Luxury designer Beach Villa is situated in the safe seaside village of Witsand - THE GATEWAY TO THE GARDEN ROUTE - and caters to the discerning guest looking for up-market beach front self catering accommodation.

The home is tastefully and luxuriously decorated in a relaxed seaside theme with art and objet d art from across the African continent offering you a luxurious beach front stay.

The home has 5 double bedrooms of which 3 are en-suite and 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is an additional guest WC.

The villa has 2 entertainment areas, 3 Decks of which 1 is on the beach side and one directly adjacent to the main living area that features a gas barbecue, beautiful sea views, lounging and dining.

All the bedrooms are individually and tastefully decorated in shades of blue, turquoise and grey and the beds are fitted with 100% cotton linens.

The Main Bedroom Suite offers you a freestanding bath with sea-views and separate en-suite shower room with twin vanities and a rain shower head. Extra blankets and swimming towels are also provided.

The main living area features a LED TV with HD premium DSTV channels as well as a blue ray player with surround sound,

Downstairs you will find a library / reading room stocked with various titles, magazines and some games for your enjoyment.

A fully enclosed courtyard area features a splash pool and fire-pit. The home has 1 extra long garage and has a generator for power-outages. Off-street parking is also available for 4 vehicles.

This is an eco friendly property with hot water on demand systems and a water purifier for drinking water.

The Chef's kitchen is fully fitted with all the mod-cons including a water purifier, ice maker and the separate scullery has a dishwasher.

Laundry facilities on site.

The house is let on a self-catering basis and well behaved small pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

The home is situated within the safe coastal village of Witsand which boasts the Breede River Estuary known for its fantastic fishing and Kite Surfing!

Witsand is known as "The Whale Nursery" of South Africa and this home is located perfectly for land based whale watching! We even offer you a telescope to enjoy watching the whales!

Near the Home: Restaurant within 2 min walking distance , Boat and/or fishing charters, guided or unguided walks, birdwatching, paddle boarding, excellent kite surfing etc......

This is truly a luxury home away from home with all and more to make your holiday a very memorable one!

YOUNG CHILDREN: Take note of the following: Open Swimming Pool, balconies, stairs, valuable objet d'art and only the master bedroom suite is accessed from the main living area.

Getting around

The best way to get around and see the sights is by foot on the beach! magic beach walks. The Anchorage restaurant and pub is within a 2 minute walk from the property and the Pili Pili Adventure Centre for the more active adventure guests is a 10 minute drive from the home. We also offer you 2 bicycles should you wish to see the sites and cycle around.

Interaction with guest

Our local Agent will meet you at the property and check you in and is available should you need any assistance at any time. We can recommend boat rentals and charters should you wish to go fishing, cruising etc. There is a book with all activities, places of interest, shopping etc for your perusal in the home. Cleaner available on request for short term lettings. High Season and / or stays of 5 nights or longer - laundry, tidy up services and lines / towel changes included. WiFi is free.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Wendi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
