Beck Cottage is a stunning 300-year-old thatched cottage located on a private lane with no passing traffic and within an enclosed & secluded plot. The cottage is located in the heart of the pretty village of Woodgreen in Hampshire. The Horse and Groom public house is located a few minutes walk away. A well-stocked village store is also within a 10/15 minute walk offering a full range of locally sourced products. Beck Cottage is a short walk away from the village green and cricket wicket. The New Forest National Park is yours to explore. Low occupancy rate has been applied to dates up to to 17.05.21 which means 2 of the bedrooms are shut off.

This picture perfect New Forest holiday home comprises a lounge with large wood burner and beamed ceiling, 48" plasma TV with Sky TV. Separate dining room with a large table and seating for up to 12. large kitchen & breakfast room with all the usual appliances to make this a complete home from home experience. Doors lead off to the newly built wooden conservatory. Ground floor double bedroom with adjacent wet room. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom with basin and one double bedroom, a family bathroom and separate toilet. On the second floor, there is a further double bedroom and another twin bedroom with a secret staircase! Beck cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 12 adults with additional fold out beds available for a small fee. In addition there is a games room above the garage with football table and a table tennis table and with a trampoline in the garden.

Facilities and Services: Oil fired central heating and electricity included. Travel cot, 2 high chairs and stairgates available on request (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, fully enclosed mature and charming garden (not secure for small dogs) with patio and barbeque area with garden seating for 12, summer house, shepherds hut that sleeps 2 either in a double or 2 singles available for hire, Garden shower room, children's climbing frame, 4 - 6 person permanent hot tub available for hire from £300 ,private parking for up to 6 cars.

Dogs are welcome to stay here max 3 at £35 per dog fee

There is a 4-6 seat hot tub available from £300 for short breaks and £375 for 7 nights

Bike hire available in Fordingbridge

During school holidays, EASTER, CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR only 7-night stays will be accepted.

Stay criteria is based on (out of school holiday) 7-night stays, long weekends Fri-Mon (3 nights minimum stay) or mid-week breaks Mon-Fri (4 nights minimum stay). Special last minute discounts available please email for information.

Excellent accommodation for the 10 of us. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable week. Cottage was nice and clean and comfortable. Everything you needed for a week’s holiday in the New Forrest.

Good cottage accommodating 12 persons - just! Lacking kitchen scissors was a serious omission. Didn’t use the spa pool due to excessive price. Pub and shop stunning addition.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
