Fabulous 2 bedroom villa with pool and fantastic sea views located on Montserrat the idyllic and untouched Caribbean Island. The villa is located on a half an acre lot of lush rainforest in the most exclusive Woodlands area of the island. The beach is just a short 7 minute walk down the hill, while the villa itself enjoys complete privacy and is not overlooked. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family holiday.

Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, while the kitchen has all the mod cons you could need to self cater. The large undercover veranda is the perfect place to enjoy sundowners or an evening meal, while looking out over the Caribbean Sea towards St Kitts & Nevis.

The villa comes with wifi as standard, and there is a 50inch flat screen TV with DVD and PS3 for games or movies in the evenings. There is a weekly maid service, and airport pick-up included in the weekly rental. While linens and towels are provided. Car hire can also be arranged.

We also have a cot available for those with small children. While the veranda can be closed off from the pool and steps with child gates. It is also feasible for 1-2 people to sleep in the big lounge, on a temporary mattress if required.

Really unfortunate review. I actually think the guests really liked the villa ("villa is lovely, amazing place" comments via email) and their dissatisfaction actually relates to the debacle of a broken pool pump. (NB: the lack of provision of Netflix and Blueray player is factually incorrect.... only the remote control was missing! While we immediately replaced the iPod doc with new Google chrome as soon as these feedback was received!) These guests were unfortunate that during their stay the pool pump gave up! Montserrat is a small island where everything is imported, and the 4 day turnaround to replace the pump (not a week) I thought was actually pretty quick. Meanwhile our professional pool maintenance guy (best on island who manages many pools) assured us that the pool was safe to use during this time. We offered dinner out to compensate for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately the guests disagreed with the professional advice and stated the pool was un-useable, and demanded a refund of £xxx, or else they would write a poor review. I felt this demand was excessive and unfair, and seemed somewhat opportunistic. Unfortunately I refused to yield to their demands, although the guests did get an inflated offer of compensation (circa 50% of their demanded refund) cash equivalent (not dinner!) as an act of good will, unfortunately they have left this poor review anyway! Such a shame, as our previous very positive list of reviews have now been somewhat tarnished thanks to one guest. Very disappointed.

Hi Naomi, Many thanks for the feedback. We’ve been in touch with the cleaner noting your feedback. We replaced all our linens last year, but for some strange reason our cleaner prefers the older ones. Similar to you, we don’t so we’ve insisted on only the new stuff being used, which is much better quality. The cleanliness is paramount and cobwebs should be cleared and all surfaces are expected to be pristine on arrival. Once again thanks for the feedback, this is how we improve so it is greatly valued. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tom (the owner) a message.

If Tom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
