Immerse yourself in history and stay at our lovely Fifteenth Century self contained, two-story Coach House, we believe it is over 400 years old!! Set in the peaceful, rural village of Lower Broadheath, just a mile from Edward Elgar's Birthplace Museum and just a convenient 3 miles from the beautiful, cathedral City of Worcester.
The Coach House is a fabulous, historical, timbered space where we have tried to keep the original features but ensured that areas such as the kitchen and bathroom have a modern, clean feel.
Behind your own front door, the space is on two levels with a modern dining kitchen and bathroom on the ground level. The vaulted timbered first floor level is a large open plan space that has been sectioned off to provide a sitting / TV area and also a sleeping area. It contains a double bed and a large king size sofa bed, flat screen TV with freeview channels.
The property provides you with everything you need for a self-catering break with full size oven with grill and 4-ring gas hob, undercounter fridge, kettle and toaster, a good selection of kitchen utensils to include pans, crockery and cutlery and a dining table seating 4.
Your stay includes heating in colder months, constant hot water, fresh towels and bedding, a flat screen TV with freeview channels inc radio, free Wi-Fi and kitchen basics such as tea, coffee and storecupboard basics.
Upstairs, the main bed is a comfy double and the second is a king sized sofa bed, there is also a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. There is also a second sofa bed in the kitchen diner area downstairs.
Our lovely two story Coach House is completely separate from our own home and it will be your own space behind your own front door.
The property will give you the peace and quiet that you find in a rural village, (You will most likely be woken only by birdsong or horses going on their daily walk!) with the convienience of being close to Worcester, Malvern / Malvern Hills, Stratford-Upon-Avon and The Costwold Villages but also with great travelling times and motorway links throughout the UK. We are apx 45 mins drive from Birmingham Airport. There is free parking for a car on our gated driveway.

Perfect place to stay. Lovely accommodation, extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. Great location, with a good local pub. We would love to stay again.

Why can't I call Rachel (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rachel (the owner) a message.

If Rachel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
