Beautiful self catering holiday cottage location in the glorious countryside near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The cottage, which sleeps up to four, features a spacious bedroom with a large linked king size double bed - which can also be separated into two single beds. Further sleeping space can be created using a cot or child's single bed which can easily be added to this room and a sofa bed which sleeps two can be found in the sitting room. Please note this is s sofa bed and may not be suitable for adults.

The cottage has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. From the front door you enter the fitted kitchen complete with double oven, microwave, ceramic hob, larder fridge, dishwasher and washing machine with dryer. The kitchen has a small dining/breakfast area with seating for four; a high chair can be provided on request. A wide flight of stairs from the kitchen leads to the spacious first floor sitting room complete with two sofas, one of which has a double pull-out bed.

Off the sitting room, at the top of the stairs, is a well appointed bedroom with a super king-size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair and wonderful views over the garden, fields and the Shropshire hills. The bed can be split to provide twin singles and a child's single bed can be added both on request.

Off the sitting room, through a small dressing room is the bathroom fitted with bath, large double shower, wash basin and WC.

All towels are included in rent. A cot and high chair are also available on request. The cottage has oil central heating. All fuel and electricity is included in rent. The Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvets and pillows are of the highest quality and ensure a cosy sleep. All bed linen is included in rent.

A 37" flatscreen TV with built-in freeview and DVD player is provided. Also, a Sony HiFi complete with iPod dock and DAB radio.

A stair gate is fitted at the top of the stairs.

The house is surrounded by beautiful Shropshire countryside and is only 5 miles from the delightful town of Bridgnorth.

Guests are welcome to make use of the owner's large garden with its lawns, double box hedges, pleached limes, orchard and kitchen garden, from which seasonal vegetables are often available.

For children there is a fort with swings and slides and croquet on the lawn. In the summer a self heated circular pool is provided for the children. Parents can sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Philip (the owner) a message.

If Philip (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
