Albion is a 2-bedroom (double and twin) cottage set in shared landscaped gardens on the bank of the River Bure within the elite Peninsula Cottages estate in the heart of Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park. suitable for family holidays and fishing breaks. The cottage enjoys free fishing on the river and around the marina and has its own private mooring 45 ft x 12 ft. Bring your own boat or hire one for a few days and keep it outside the door. The cottage now enjoys double-glazing fitted for the start of the 2019 season,

Arriving at The Peninsula cottages and driving around the Peninsula marina, you park behind the secure barrier (free parking for up to 3 cars by advance agreement), you will be thrilled by the unique position of this cottage as you open your front door and look out at the views of Wroxham Bridge and the river from the front and back of the cottage. Enjoy the welcome tea and biscuits or bottle of wine on your private terrace. walk around the landscaped gardens to the Peninsula's own bar and bistro just a minute walk across the car park.

Inside you have a kitchen / dining area with full size cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Breakfast bar / diner for 4 and living area with 2 double sofas and 32" TV / DVD and French doors opening onto your own private South-East facing patio terrace for morning breakfast in the Sun.

Upstairs the bathroom has been refurbished for 2020 to have walk-in shower cubicle, white pedestal basin and w.c. and heated towel rail.The double bedroom has TV/DVD, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing shelf /mirror, and the twin bedroom has two full size single beds suitable for adults and children, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and 22" TV/DVD.

All bed linen is provided and beds made up for your arrival, and complete sets of towels for each guest. All electricity is included in the price, so there are no hidden extras.

Our professional cleaning company carry out the government advised double clean, doing a normal clean followed by disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as switches and worktops. This is not a DEEP CLEAN. Had you advised us of any cleaning issues at the start of your holiday we would have sent them in to correct any problems. However, you chose not to reply to our request for feedback, which is the only way we can maintain our high standards. However, we are pleased that you say you had a good time and agree that the cottage is in a lovely position with Wroxham close by and fishing just outside the door. We would love to invite you back again as we have just had the whole cottage redecorated by our maintenance company who have also just fitted new wood laminate flooring to the whole of the downstairs ready for the 2021 season.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
