Casita Artista is a hideaway at the edge of the jungle overlooking the bay in Yelapa, Mexico. It's newly constructed unique casita surrounded by beautiful gardens full of unique tropical plants and under large trees full of birds and butterflies and close to the ocean. The quaint small studio is great for one person or a couple/ Honeymooners!
From our house is 3 minute walk to several restaurants. Only a 5 minute walk to beach (the big beach) but only a second to the playita where we swim and float on rafts a lot. The fisherman are below. it's a unique place - we have had for 15+ years- equipale furniture - we're artists so it has a funky style!

REVIEW FROM MIKE FEB 2015
A really charming cottage-like place in a great location in Yelapa. Yelapa is divided down the middle by a little stream that you can cross on barefoot. The left side is very touristy with a white sand beach and restaurants, and the right side is the "pueblo" - a small town with more locals that feels more authentic. Seaside Casita Artista is in the pueblo. If you want immediate access to beaches and Pina Coladas, then it's a 10-15 minute walk to the left side of the stream. If you're looking for a more authentic experience of Mexico, then this is a great place to be. You're just steps from a local market where you can buy stuff to cook with, steps to the water, and a couple minutes from a few good restaurants. The place has most of what you might need - kitchen, bathroom, sink, a huge safe area to lock things, etc. The bed is a little small but pretty comfortable. The fan is a godsend for reducing the number of mosquito bites. Antonia and Chris were super friendly, easygoing, and pretty easy to reach when I needed anything.
A Review from Mark 2016
We were lucky to book this place at the last minute and amazed it was still available for the holidays. The place is connected to Antonia's artist studio, but is very much its own private space. There are two private entrances to the casita and it's very close to the water and the main part of town.
We found the place without any trouble by asking for Antonia as soon as we got off the ferry. We were led directly to her front door! The space is small, but well appointed and comfortable. Nice shower, drinking water provided, and all the kitchen essentials. Very quiet at night and great location.
