This luxurious apartment, run by York Stay Holidays, has been renovated to the highest standards and tastefully decorated throughout. It is bright and airy and set in a quiet location with a lovely view of the gardens which are available to use. It is a first-floor apartment (no lift) with a combined kitchen and lounge area, bathroom (not ensuite), bedroom with UK king-sized bed and WIFI throughout.

The apartment is located just a few minutes' walk from Goodramgate (which is one of the main entrances into the City) and about 3 minutes from York Minster and the famous Shambles and yet set in a quiet location. The nearest Airport in Leeds Bradford and it’s a 5 minute taxi ride or 20 minute walk from York Station.

Self check-in available via a key safe to allow arrival time flexibility.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home. There is a built-in washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and plus there is a Nespresso coffee machine (sorry George Clooney is sadly not included!) and pods and milk frothier.

LOUNGE/DINER

In the lounge there is a glass dining table with dining chairs, a tub chair with foot stall and comfortable sofa bed. The smart tv has catch up tv available and there is a blue tooth speaker which allows you to play music from your phone.

BEDROOM

There is a luxurious UK king-size bed with crisp Egyptian cotton bedding and soft white towels are also provided. There are USB charger sockets in the bedroom to charge phones and tablets without needing a plug. There is also a hairdryer and water bottles provided.

BATHROOM

The bathroom has a good-sized bath with an electric overhead shower, there is a heated towel rail and external window.

OTHER INFORMATION

There is high-speed free WIFI throughout the apartment.

We supply tea, coffee, coffee pods, milk sachets and biscuits for you to enjoy!

This apartment is suitable for short and long stays.

The owners have extensive knowledge of York and the surrounding areas and ensure that guests have up-to-date tourist information sent in available of their trip.

Minimum stay 3 nights (occasionally we offer 2 and 1 night stays so please do ask us)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Melanie (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Melanie (the owner) a message.

If Melanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
