A beautiful traditional stone built end terraced house, this property has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard and sleeps up to four people.A charming stone, end terraced cottage, situated on a hillside in the lovely village of Youlgreave, this lovely property is full of character. The cosy and inviting sitting room, with its dining area, is a comfortable place to relax in after the rigors of a busy day's sightseeing. There are two delightful bedrooms, one double and one adult bunk bedroom with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. They are both beautifully decorated and offer a tranquil haven in which to enjoy a good night's sleep. The bathroom is elegant, modern and well appointed, outside there is a front patio with furniture and a barbecue and a footpath leads from the cottage to the Bradford Dale Valley bottom. This property is a lovely base from which to explore this wonderful area. Please note the property can only accept bookings starting on Friday's or Monday's

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Set in outstanding countryside, Youlgreave is an ancient village between the valleys of Lathkill Dale and Bradford Dale, two of the most stunning areas in the Peak District. It was once the centre of the lead mining industry but is now a charming tourist destination. The village has three public houses, all of which serve food, two shops, a post office and a beautiful medieval church with some parts dating back to the 13th and14th Centuries. The market town of Bakewell is nearby and has a wide selection of shops and eateries along with its Monday market. With so many stately homes, beautiful scenery and outdoor pursuitsthe Peak District has so much to offer as a holiday destination and Youlgreave makes a perfect base to explore this lovely area.
