One of the best things about the Chata Zazriva is its location. Although you are not far from the village and thus do not feel isolated in any way, you are, nevertheless, in the countryside, at the foot of one of Slovakia's National Parks.
As you sit out in the garden, eating food from your barbecue with a glass of local wine, enjoying the spectacular views of the Mala Fatras to the rear, the Oravska Magura to the front and a woodland (filled with mushrooms or berries depending on the season) on your left, and you hear the sounds of nature all around, the birds singing, the wind rushing through the trees; you are guaranteed to feel refreshed, relaxed and totally at home.
