Situated at elevated position and surrounded by the stunning mountains of Zermatt, guests are treated to the early morning sun and views of the famous Matterhorn year round. In winter, you can ski almost all the way to the entry of the chalet. The Klein Matterhorn cable station is only a 5 minute walk away. There is a bus stop right in front of the chalet another important, plus. So you can find a little shop almost next door to the Chalet Ulysse. For families, the newly built children's playground next door is extremely mobile. We happily welcome toddlers for free until the age of 2 children's beds are available. Chalet Ulysse is a triplex that consists of two scenic apartments: the expansive and enchanting Ulysse I on the upper two floors, and the exceedingly pleasing Ulysse II on the ground floor. Both apartments are furnished with the same great press and attention that will make our guests feel comfortable and at home. Guests of both apartments share the use of a wonderful sauna and relaxation room where they can rest after a busy day of skiing and hiking. The apartments are both equipped with their own modern kitchens and fitted with associated items such as toasters, microwaves, Nespresso machines and mixer. In addition, they have free wideband internet access, TVs/radios, DVD recorder, and zag hair. Animals to be on request only. Please notice that this is a non-smoking chalet. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marilyn (the owner) a message.

If Marilyn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
