This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor dining in the warm spring and summer months. The raised dining room which leads to the kitchen seats 14 people.
From the lounge area guests will discover a well-appointed games room and luxuriously-seated cinema and games room with pool table. South facing balconies on many of the stylish and comfortable en suite bedrooms also capture breathtaking scenic views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains.
Chalet Grace also boasts a spacious glass fronted Wellness area including a sauna, shower room, massage room, a large Pilates/yoga space with ambient lighting and music and an outdoor hot tub.
The uninterrupted views of Zermatt town below and the Matterhorn at the end of the valley are spectacular from the picture windows.
Built on a south-facing hillside in the exclusive Petite Village area, two minutes by taxi from the Sunnegga Express lift and three minutes from the village centre, Chalet Grace already has a reputation as one of the most luxurious and spectacular chalets in Zermatt.
Located in the exclusive Petit Village area of Zermatt, Chalet Grace has some of the best possible views of the Matterhorn together with a wonderful south facing aspect, which makes it by far the sunniest part of Zermatt. It is the perfect spot to relax, sunbath or just enjoy the spectacular views of the Matterhorn and surrounding scenery.
Zermatt is located in one of the highest resorts in the Alps ensuring the best possible ski conditions. Dominated by the Matterhorn and its surrounding scenery, it combines, great year round skiing (313km of ski pistes) with a beautiful car free village, incredible restaurants, lively Après ski and fantastic shopping.
As well as being famous for the Matterhorn, Zermatt boasts an incredible selection of mountain restaurants. The skiing is world class with four major interconnected areas including Sunnega/Rothorn, The Gornergrat, Klein Matterhorn and lastly due to its location on the Swiss/Italian border, Cervinia in Italy.
Le Petit Village
"Le Petit Village" is based on a type of village which exists on many mountainsides in the valleys of the Valais region. The individual buildings face toward the south in order to make optimal use of the view and of the angle of the sun.
Access to the houses is via an inclined elevator from the riverside road river; which can be reached by car. This is as close to a drive-in, drive-out property as one can get in Zermatt. The chalet may also be reached from higher up on a main road by foot or by electro taxi without the use of tunnel. The chalet is located in an area that may be reached by ski during the winter although ski-in access is for advanced skiers only at present and involves taking a shortcut off the marked trail. This shortcut is used by many of the local "petit village" residents.
The Sunnegga lift is a mere three minutes away and the centre of town a further two minutes by electric taxi.
