SKI TO DOOR (CONDITIONS PERMITTING) AND INCLUSIVE OF TOURIST TAX ! Chalet Halten is a typical swiss chalet situated in a peaceful alpine setting a short walk above the centre of the traditional village of Zweisimmen. The Gstaad ski area offers 200km of alpine skiing with a further 200km nearby in Lenk/Adelboden.

The free Gstaad Card offers free local train transport in the summer months, along with year round discounts and offers.

The apartment offers superbly appointed, stylish accommodation with quality modern furnishings and appliances. The living area features a large comfortable seating area and satellite HDTV with surround sound, DVD and CD player. Free broadband Wifi is available as well as the use of a playstation, music and entertainment library.

The large dining area comfortably seats more than six people, whilst the well appointed, modern kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, breadmaker and Nespresso machine.

The two double bedrooms offer plenty of storage and a comfortable retreat after the days activities. The large recently renovated luxury bathroom has twin washbasins, toilet and Hans Grohe rainshower.

Patio doors open onto the terrace garden with its lovely view, quality patio furniture and Gas BBQ. Chalet Halten also offers use of a table tennis table, two mountain bikes, underground garage parking as well as a ski room, use of a shared washing machine and tumble drier without additional charge.

Why can't I call Trudy (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Trudy (the owner) a message.

If Trudy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
