The extended part of the cottage provides an entrance hall leading into a superb modern fitted kitchen with a cast iron wood burning stove and double glazed windows and French doors overlooking the rear gardens, all providing natural daylight. It includes a high specification glass induction hob, built in microwave, buit in oven, Dualit toaster and kettle, contemporary kitchen units with granite worktops, large table seating eight, slate flooring, iPod docking station.
A superb living room has been created from the original part of the cottage with feature stonework and an inglenook fireplace with a fitted cast iron wood burner. There are two large Marks and Spencer sofas each seating three people, one of which is a sofa bed. There is a Marks & Spencer leather chair. It has a 42in Panasonic plasma TV with Freeview and Humax Freesat satellite TV. There is a Playstation 3 with a selection of games including Playstation Move, DVDs plus a selection of board games. It has a Bang and Olufsen wall mounted hi-fi with Alexa which gives access to over 30 million songs.
The master bedroom has a leather Marks and Spencer king size bed, walnut bedside tables, contemporary built in wardrobes and an en suite shower room.
The second bedroom has a feature stone wall, traditional cast iron double bed, two large antique pine chests of drawers and art deco style lighting.
Children's bedroom has a total of four single beds two of which are in the main downstairs part of the bedroom and two are mattresses in an upstairs crog loft. Note that the crog loft has limited headroom and is therefore best suited for use by children.
The main bathroom has a large P-shaped bath with shower
Throughout the property there are contemporary oak doors, oak skirting boards and window sills, slate floors and designer lighting.
The house is warmed by underfloor heating as well as the two wood burning stoves.
Outside there is a large garden with football goals, a trampoline and a climbing frame/tree house. There is a patio area with a slate table seating six. There is a wooden decked area with a further table for six. There is also a gas barbecue and various outdoor games.
There is a large high specification hot tub that seats five with a built in lighting and sound system. The hot tub is available 365 days a year at an additional cost of just £30 per night for the first two nights, then £15 per night for each additional night.
Note that the blue outbuilding contains garden tools, spare bedding, spare cleaning products etc and is not accessible by guests. The wooden hut in the garden is also not accessible.
