Before this Winter we hope to insulate the roof space to make upstairs retain the heat better. We are planning to do this without spoiling the character of the barn and maintain the visibility of the lovely old internal beams.
Yes, the old bridal path leading to the barn can be a challenge for low cars, pleased you managed it. We upgrade the lane when we can but as it is a bridal path we are not allowed to tarmac it or alter its appearance too much. Anyone concerned about the lane is most welcome to park at the farmhouse where there is ample room and extra cars can be parked here if necessary, however we do encourage people to car share when possible.
Hope you will return
