Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful historic Mendip hills we are in an enviable position not only because we are walking distance to Combe Lodge wedding venue and Yeo valley conference centre, but we are only but a short drive away from Wells, Bath, Cheddar, Glastonbury and Weston-super-Mare.
Set within 3 acres of rich farmland, School Farm is centrally located in the village of Blagdon. It offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The Yeo Valley Conference Centre is just 10 minutes’ walk away.
The rooms feature luxury beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and the use of Tempur pillows upon request. Each also includes a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. En-suite shower rooms and a hairdryer are also provided.
Breakfast dishes are prepared using locally sourced produce and eggs from School Farm’s own chickens. Guests can choose between full Somerset breakfast and daily specials, along with homemade marmalade and croissants. Packed lunch is available upon request.

If you’re jetting off somewhere nice from Bristol Airport we are located on the A368, 10 minutes away and 5 mins from the A38.
All our food is locally sourced wherever possible; Our bread is freshly made by using high grade Shipton Mill flour. Yoghurts and butter from our neighbours.We even keep our own chickens that supply fresh eggs.
If you’re fishing, we are a short walk to Blagdon Lake. We can make you up a delicious packed lunch, including soup in a flask and a wonderful Pasty from Crantock, Cornwall. (My Cornish husbands favourite) for a small charge.
Both of us have many years experience in the airline industry so we would like to give you a first class service. If we can do anything to make your stay even more comfortable then please just ask.

All of our rooms are ensuite and have free WiFi.
Our double room called ‘Mendip’ is on the ground floor, and has a large shower room with easy access, ideal for those who would prefer not to cope with stairs.
The ‘Ubley’ room is on the first floor and boasts a super king size bed and lovely views of Blagdon cricket pitch and St Andrew's Church beyond.
The Rickford room, also on the first floor has a king size bed and wonderful views of the cricket pitch, church and hills.
All rooms have digital TV, DVD players, Hairdryer.Tea, coffee and biscuits.
