Our Flat is situated in superb position on the Christchurch bank of the River Stour. It self contained and south facing in a quiet location about 12 minutes walk from Christchurch town centre and 6 miles from the centre of Bournemouth. The Flat is NON SMOKING. It will accommodate up to 4 people but we do not take pets or children under 7 years old or babies.
FLAT DETAILS
The flat is a modern first floor extension to the owners own home. It is
completely self contained and well furnished throughout and maintained to a high standard by the owners who ensure it is thoroughly cleaned between each let. There is one bedroom with two 3ft single beds, the bathroom has a new walk in shower fitted 2022 but no bath , and a lounge/diner which includes a fully equipped kitchen area. The lounge has a 10ft patio door opening onto a large balcony suitable for sunbathing or dining on fine days. A patio set and 2 sun loungers with cushions are provided. In the lounge there is also a comfortable fold down 4ft 6in double bed (not a put u up) and thus the flat will accommodate 4 persons in comfort. The flat is in excellent decorative order and double glazed throughout. A new HD flat
screen TV is provided. All beds are made up with linen and duvets prior to arrival .All bed linen and tea towels are provided free of charge. Towels are not provided.
AMENITIES
The nearest beach at Southbourne is just a few minutes away by car. Beaches at Boscombe Bournemouth and Mudeford are also reached within 10 to 15 minutes drive. There are picturesque riverside walks along both banks of the river and pleasure boat trips operate regularly to Mudeford beach. There are also self-drive motor boats and rowing boats for hire. Being a holiday area there are many restaurants, golf courses and sporting facilities nearby including Christchurch Leisure Centre , Littledown, and Bournemouth International centre. The old priory town of Christchurch, with its Saxon square shopping precinct has a variety of restaurants, pubs, historical buildings and museums all within walking distance. Fishing from the end of the garden--in season.
FACILITIES
Parking . There is plenty of off-road parking in the wide gravel drive.
Shops. The nearest convenience store is in Stour road approx
400metres awa (5 minutes walk). Tuckton village has a variety of shops
and is about 10 minutes walk away.
Bus. Frequent bus services run to both Bournemouth and
Christchurch from the bus stops which are within 100 metres of the
property.
Rail. The station is approx 1 mile away. There is a taxi service available
there.
Fishing. Please note…Although guests are welcome to fish from the end
of the garden, occasionally both moorings are used by the owner
and guests will have to fish around his boats.
