DESIGNED FOR YOUR FAMILY OR GROUP HOLIDAY

Endless Summer Beach House was built in 2016 and has been designed with beach loving families in mind. In a perfect location behind the sand dunes next to the beach footpath, the house is ideally situated within a few minutes level walk of both Croyde's famous golden sand surfing beach and the village centre.

The layout comfortably accommodates groups of up to 10 people who will enjoy being so near the beach and with beautiful surroundings. The focal living space is a large, bright open plan space with large glass picture windows to make the most of the afternoon sun and sea view. A second living room allows guests to spread out and children or grandparents can have their own space.

MAIN LIVING ROOM

.

A large triple-aspect living room fitted with large sofas and footstools, with two sets of french doors leading out onto the garden with views to the dunes and sea. For entertainment there is a 40″ LCD TV with satellite channels, DVD player with a selection of films and Bluetooth HiFi system. For the evenings, the lounge also features an ‘Opti-myst' fireplace with real flame effect.

The dining area has an extendable table and chairs seating 10. Above this, one of our old surfboards now provides dimmable lighting to suit the occasion.

2ND LIVING ROOM

.

From the main living area there is a door through to a separate, triple-aspect second living room with its own french doors to the garden. Here we have provided a 28″ TV with FreeView and FreeSat, DVD player with DVDs and Xbox with games. There's a comfortable sofa and two arm chairs, books, board games and a selection of children's toys. This is a light and airy room with views to the garden and the sea beyond. Great for children to have their own space to play or for the older generation to relax with a good book.

KITCHEN

.

Enjoy socialising and views of the garden whilst preparing food and drinks in the open plan kitchen with its glass breakfast bar and two swivel stools. The fully fitted modern gloss white kitchen has a new built-in electric cooker with double oven and grill, dishwasher and spacious fridge freezer. Small appliances include a microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and food mixer. The cupboards are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware for over 10 people as well as everything needed for catering for ten.

BEDROOMS

There are four bedrooms with two on the first floor and two on the ground floor:

BEDROOM 1 on the first floor is a large room with a sea view. It has a king size bed and plenty of storage for clothes, a dressing table, lounger and TV.

BEDROOM 2 also on the first floor is another large room with two single beds and a bunk bed. This room is great for children to share and has plenty of clothes storage, two beanbags, children's chairs and table with sea view.

BEDROOM 3 is on the ground floor with a king size bed that can be changed to two singles (on request), wardrobe and dressing table.

BEDROOM 4 is also on the ground floor and has a double bed, wardrobe and drawers.

BATHROOMS

.

The upstairs family bathroom features a modern gloss white suite, including heated steam-free mirror, large corner bath and separate corner shower. There's ample storage space and cabinets for everyone. There are two rubber bath mats for use in the bath and a grab handle in the shower.

Downstairs is a shower room featuring modern white toilet and basin with lit mirror vanity unit over and spacious shower with grab handle.

A luxury feature of Endless Summer is its spacious enclosed heated outdoor shower for your return from the beach to rinse off the salt and sand. Also perfect for rinsing your wetsuits before hanging them to dry.

OTHER PRACTICAL SPACES

.

Through the front door is a porch with hooks and storage for shoes then a spacious double height hallway provides an under stairs storage/buggy area plus a cupboard containing an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, high chair, stair gate, hair dryer and other items.

Through the back door is the utility room at the rear of the house with its own sink, washer-dryer and storage space for coats, shoes and bags for when guests return from the beach.

OUTSIDE

.

The house is on a quiet private cul-de-sac and the driveway has a five-bar gated entrance with a separate pedestrian gate and has sufficient parking for at least two cars. With such close access to the beach and village centre you should not need to park elsewhere in Croyde during your stay. Endless Summer's secluded gardens are fully landscaped, circle the property and are laid to lawn at the front and rear. They are fully enclosed, making them private and ideal for children. The lawns and flower beds are regularly maintained throughout the year.

We have owned Endless Summer since 2003 and rebuilt the original 1950s chalet in 2016 with a modern and energy-efficient holiday home that we use as a family. Because we don't use an agent we are able to communicate directly with guests and can answer any questions and give advice on the local area. Our changeover cleans now following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and we have processes in place to maintain cleanliness and have been approved by Visit England as 'Good to Go'. You will have contactless access to the keys through using the key safe and will be sent your code once you have paid for the booking. We will also send you details of how to access our online Guest Portal that has lots of useful holiday information.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
