An attractive 3-bedroomed, grade II listed barn conversion, originally built in 1765, with parking for 2 vehicles and enclosed garden. Situated just outside Belthorn village, near Blackburn, down an unadopted lane, walking on the West Pennine Moors is available direct from the door. Blackburn and Darwen, each with extensive facilities are about 3 miles away. Stunning long distance views towards the Fylde Coast. 3 pubs locally. Midsummer Barn makes an excellent base for walking or exploring the North West, with Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and Lytham St Annes all within one hours drive, as are the historic towns of Clitheroe and Skipton. Flexible start days - please enquire. Free Wi-Fi. Public transport is available from the top of the lane. Can sleep up to 7 (plus up to 2 cots) by prior arrangement.

We are proud to be a family-friendly, and pet-friendly cottage and have a large number of items available to use, including cots, high-chairs, etc - please feel free to ask.

The master bedroom has a double bed; the family room has a double (bottom) bunk and a single (top) bunk, and a full-sized cot. The third bedroom has two single beds, which can be joined to make a king-sized bed, if preferred. A travel cot is also available if required.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Yvonne (the owner) a message.

If Yvonne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
