This AIR CONDITIONED home is a 2 bedroom house with magnificent hilltop views of Drake Bay. This home boasts of the best view of Drake Bay of all the homes along the beach. Private and central to all necessary amenities. Full kitchen, and an amazing backyard patio with hammocks. A great place to relax for 2-5 people while visiting the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park. Many exotic birds can be seen right on the property including Scarlet Mcaws that roost right in our yard.

TV AND CABLE

We can coordinate taxi pickup from the airstrip if you fly in, or meet you at the beach if you take the boat from Sierpe all people who come by boat are supposed to use Alejio's boat as that is the one designated for Binya. In the rainy season it is very difficult, if not impossible, to drive to Drake because of steep mountain roads and a river to ford. From late December to late August driving to Drake is usually possible, a 4X4 is best. The last gas station is at Chacarita, where you turn off the Interamerican Highway. It is best if you call/email ahead for road conditions. Secure off street parking is available. We'll get you settled in and explain the layout of the town and options for local tours etc. We are always in the next house in case you need something or for an emergency.

We can book all of the tours for you. Just send a message to Debra when you book. We just partnered with the Pelagic boat which is a multipurpose vessel capable of rough ocean conditions. We can take you scuba diving with Eric who is a PADI Instructor, sport fishing, on a whale and dolphin tour, mangrove tour, snorkeling, a sunset tour and just about anything you want to do we can arrange it. The boat has a restroom, GPS, Marine Radio, back up batteries, AED, Oxygen, First Aid, Depth/Fish finder, spare food and water.

Bahia Drake is a small village. No Starbucks, no traffic, and no worries. There is also no bank or ATM, so plan accordingly!! You can use US dollars or Costa Rican Colones

Your home is only steps to the beach, 4 mini markets and 10+ small restaurants. Help support the local economy of Drake Bay. Just tell me what you are interested in, Snorkel to Cano Island, Scuba, Night Tour, Day hike or overnight to Sirena, Waterfall hike, or just take a nice hike right from the house to a coastal jungle trail.

If you require a c pap machine, bring extra an backup battery as there are frequent power outages in this location mostly during the rainy season.

kids are allowed, but you will have to keep a close eye on them. Please keep them away from plants due to wildlife that may sting or bite ( this is everywhere in the jungle)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Debra (the owner) a message.

If Debra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
