This detached barn conversion is located in the owners' grounds in the village of Fenny Bentley near to Ashbourne and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Church Barn is a traditional, detached, stone barn conversion set in the owners' grounds in the village of Fenny Bentley just two miles from Ashbourne in the Peak District. The cottage is perfect for a couple as it has one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars, bike storage and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. With access to good walking and cycle routes directly from the property, and with the market town of Ashbourne, Alton Towers Theme Park and the rest of the Peak District within easy reach, there is so much to enjoy at Church Barn.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner (Oct - April inclusive). Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Pretty, lawned garden with furniture, summerhouse and BBQ. Garden shed for bike storage. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub with restaurant 2 mins walk.

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Fenny Bentley is an attractive village in Derbyshire, 2 miles from Ashbourne. The pub and church remain the heart of the village. The Coach & Horses is a welcoming inn with real ales, and the church retains some interesting old features. Ashbourne was once a social centre in the 18th Century, and retains some fine Georgian buildings and a selection of restaurants and interesting shops. The Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by with excellent walking and cycling opportunities, whilst Alton Towers is just a short drive away.
