Birchcroft with hot tub nestles in over 1 acre of woodlands but is only 5 miles from the golden sandy beaches of Bournemouth with cinemas, nightclubs and great shopping. Picturesque Christchurch, the New Forest, National Trust properties of Brownsea Island, Kingston Lacey, Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast, are all in easy distance with Adventure Wonderland, Hobby Craft and Wimborne Minster closeby.

The area is a golfers' paradise with over 16 courses and features some very well-known courses – Parkstone, Ferndown, Broadstone, Queen's Park and Isle of Purbeck with its fantastic views of Brownsea, Poole Harbour and Bournemouth Bay.

The Dorset area is well known for its Jurassic coast, Chesil Beach and the Swannery at Abbotsbury as well as Monkey World and the Tank Museum at Bovington – all within an easy drive.

The gardens are stunning, with azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas and beautiful lawns. The woods are great for building dens and the summerhouse is now a childs' dream play house with toy kitchen, table and chairs, as well as many toys.

Use of HOT TUB. We have a hot tub on site that can be hired for a nominal £1.00 but must be pre-booked.

The full details of key codes, WiFi codes, etc will be sent direct to our guests within 2 weeks of their holiday. A hot tub can be used but must be pre-booked. You can arrive anytime after 3.30pm on the first day of your holiday or we can arrange for you to leave suitcases, etc earlier in the day if that helps you. Profile bed available. There are many lovely pubs in walking and short drive distance so you can easily arrive, early while we are still cleaning the property, leave your items and then go off to the pub for a relaxed lunch. During your stay you can easily contact us and we will be able to answer your questions. I live only 5 miles away so can pop over or my assistant is on call as well - our mobile numbers are on the board.

We are only licenced for a maximum number of people in the property to 8 plus 2 babies in cots. Due to our 4 Star rating we cannot exceed this number at present. If you catch Covid during your stay you are politely asked to return home immediately. Why can't I call Sonia (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sonia (the owner) a message.

If Sonia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
