Waters View Cottage, Hayle Copperhouse is a great location for those who love creating amazing Days Out exploring the huge array of beaches and secret coves of West Cornwall; while also having great restaurants, parks, shops and pubs on the doorstep when you get back! All within a 200year old Cornish cottage jam-packed with original features and cosy characterful charm.

St Ives, (voted Britain's best beach), and Carbis Bay (incredible!) are just a 15 mins drive, or spectacular Park & Ride train journey away. While the magical selection of coves and beaches including Sennen Cove; Porthcurno; Mousehole; St Michael's Mount, Porthleven; and Kynance Cove are all less than 30min drive away!! That's a one week holiday filled up already!! Have 2 weeks!

That's not even starting on the great family friendly cycle and walking routes around the rare salt marsh habitat that makes up Copperhouse Pool; or the surf lessons available on the local beach of Gwithian; or the great shopping and Maritime Heritage of nearby Falmouth, or the Wifi, Smart TV and selections of DVDs and board games at the cottage.

When you do have time back at the cottage - you can enjoy lazing in on the sumptuous pocket sprung mattresses; eating outdoors in the sunny, south facing enclosed garden; or even having a real fire in the woodburning stove if the weather is cooler. This cottage also has a travel cot, sofabed, and pull out extra beds for guests or larger families, selection of toys and great skatepark nearby.

We love to provide a Welcome tray with local produce, as well as a special selection of locally made Toiletries, to help get your Cornwall holiday off to a great start!

Why can't I call Carol (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carol (the owner) a message.

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
