benefiting from private parking, Cove View is an immaculately presented apartment, perfectly situated just a couple of minutes' walk from Ilfracombe's picturesque sea-front and scenic harbour. Superbly appointed with contemporary styling throughout, the apartment features a king sized bed and enjoys uninterrupted sea views from both sea facing balconies at the front, and town and coastal views from the balcony off the bedroom. The apartment is ideally located for exploring the outstanding North Devon coast and countryside. It is also perfectly positioned for access to all that Ilfracombe, North Devon's premier resort, has to offer. We provide a free "meet & greet" service and welcome pack containing fresh milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar sachets, sponge and tea towel. Cove View is so conveniently placed - an easy stroll to many great pubs and restaurants, the pretty harbour and the Damien Hirst Statue and new restaurant "11, The Quay". There is so much to do in Ilfracombe, Exmoor and the surrounding area. Ilfracombe and North Devon are renowned for fabulous beaches, a breath-taking coastline and wide range of major tourist attractions including the famous “Tarka Cycle Trail”, Clovelly, Lynton & Lymouth and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Take a boat trip from Ilfracombe's historic harbour to Lundy Island, or try your hand at fishing, surfing, horse-riding or pitch and putt. Ilfracombe has something for everyone and activities to suit all tastes.

“Beautiful appartment in excellent location”
Excellent location and a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. We walked along the coastal path from Ilfracombe to Combe Martin and from Ilfracombe to Woolacombe beach, the scenery was stunning and it was nice to leave the car behind. Lynmouth and Lynton were well worth a visit and we walked from there to the valley of the rocks it was beautiful. We also biked along the Tarka Trail from Braunton to Bideford. Clovelly was also well worth a visit. The weather was perfect and we run out of time to do everything, we would like to have visited Lundy so will definitely return. I only have one small niggle, the holiday said it provided a meet and greet service but we did not get that, a key was left in the safe and a code was sent to me via text, which was fine but it shouldn’t have been advertised as a meet and greet service. All in all though a wonderful holiday thank you!
Stayed for a week, very well equipped apartment, very close to sea front, harbour, pubs and restaurants, nice views, sunrises from bedroom, sunsets from living area, perfect for a relaxing break, would recommend.

We are 4 adults and two toddlers/girls. We were really lucky with the weather as we got the last of October’s warm weather! We spent our days in the pool and on the beach. Walked along the beach to Woolacombe which is about an hours walk carrying little ones, otherwise 45 mins. It was perfect distance and we went along the beach on the way there and coastal path the way back (which was warmer as it was a windy day) and just made it back before the tide came in. Two of us went body boarding one day, we drive to different villages and towns nearby and spent lots of time in the apartment cooking in the kitchen which has everything you may need. Be aware that it is not a party apartment as the walls are quite thin above and below. It has a nice little balcony and ours had a lovely big bath. The drive to the apartment is a little scary at first as it’s the road to the beach and it’s narrow. There are curved bays to pull into when a car is coming the other way though do you get used to it.
Response from the owner Thank you for your lovely review but I'm not sure it was meant for us. 3 Cove View is situated on a normal width one way road next to Ilfracombe town and 50 metres from the Sotuh West Coast Path. We also enjoy stunning sunsets from our balconies, and have a well equipped kitchen and family sized bathroom plus shower-room. Perhaps your review was inteded for an apartment of a similar name, but thank you anyway for posting. Best wishes, James
“Fabulous holiday flat”
If you want to stay in a fabulous, well-equipped flat, with town, beaches and great walks right on your doorstep....this is the place for you! Safe parking, so park your car and use your feet. A variety of eateries close at hand.

Lovely apartment with everything that we need. In the best spot to get to the harbour and the High Street. Another massive bonus is a parking space.

“3 Cove View,Ilfracombe”
The one bedroom apartment was stunning and furnished to a high quality. It was ensuite with additional separate bathroom. A comfortable lounge area with a fully fitted Kitchen area. It is positioned close to harbour and shops and restaurants I had a wonderful week in lovely Ilfracombe

An ideal location to explore Ilfracombe a short walk to the beaches, harbour, shops, restaurants, bars, tea rooms, cafes etc. The apartment is done to a very high standard with everything you will need for your stay and a very comfortable bed. The view from all the balconies is breathtaking and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a holiday in Ilfracombe it is home from home with a view

Fabulous. Clean, modern, comfortable and perfectly located for Ilfracombe and North Devon. Most people would like to know about the kitchen, bed and bathroom. These were all high quality and immaculate.

As Ilfracombe newbies, me and my wife were looking forward to this break and we weren't disappointed. From the start the owner was helpful and answered any enquiries in hours by email. The apartment is spacious with lovely views out of both sides of the building. To be fair the kitchen has everything but we used little as there are so many places to eat nearby. Little things like a beach bag with towels available make so much difference. Not a place for people with accessibility needs or old & infirmed I would think due to location on a steep hill plus the stairs to 1st floor. We feel we didn't seeing everything and would definitely go back there in the future.

“Illfracombe's 4 star secret”
After having a stressfull few months since my husbands stroke, we had an all too short stay (4 nights), in this wonderful apartment. I am a very fussy "renter" - the first impression for me is the smell of a rental. The smell in Cove View was clean, clean, clean, which reflected the cleanliness of the whole apartment. Whoever has furnished and outfitted this apartment has done it with comfort in mind. The bed is heavenly, the sofas, (more later), really comfy, the bathroom and the en-suite are perfect, and the kitchen and dining area lack for nothing. Being a bit of a foodie, I always take my own sharp knives, but, mine weren't needed. Back to the sofas - they are usually an area that gets a lot of use in rentals and some show signs of age, but these are wonderful, I even watched tv in my pyjamas sat on them. I love balconies and this apartment has THREE! It was really warm when we were there, we opened the doors, put bags and chairs to stop them banging, and had a fantastic through breeze - heaven. Perhaps I shouldn't be singing this apartments praises too much, we might find it difficult to find it vacant next time, but, it's one of top three that we have stayed in, along with rentals on Cape Cod and Captiva Island in Florida. Clean, fresh, homely, comfortable and centrally placed. Good food at La Gendarmerie, 11 The Quay (Damien Hirst's restaurant) and Giovanni and Luca's. Have a pint of real ale at the award winning Ship and Pilot. Thanks James and Angela (caretaker), we had a much needed break in a wonderful setting.
