Fabulous beach side house suitable for a group of up to 8 friends, a large family group or a quiet getaway for 2, you will find all you need in this cosy cottage.

A perfect location to start your holiday, No1 The Cleave is situated in a quiet traffic free zone, old and young alike are safe to wander, play or relax directly outside. Enjoy a coffee in the morning sunshine at the front or a glass of wine as the sun sets in the garden, its a view to take in.

Re decorated in 2016 with a New England coastal style, soft whites and subtle greys, relaxing sofas and warm throws this freshly styled cottage features individual fun touches and unique wall art. All the bedrooms have been styled with comfort and relaxation in mind, crisp linen and fluffy towels provided.

Cook up delicious local food in the well equipped kitchen, dine with a view - from the dining room or from the garden! Then relax in the lounge on the comfy sofas with the sound of the waves gently ebbing too and fro outside.

Between them Kingsand and Cawsand have 3 family friendly unspoilt clean beaches all within a sheltered bay, if you are looking for action with older children you can take the short drive to the longest stretch of sandy beach in England, Whitsand Bay where you will find plenty of fantastic surf and hidden coves for having bbq's.

Little pirates will be easily entertained more locally exploring the rock pools, playing with the sand and paddling in the clear water. Hire kayaks and paddle boards on Cawsand beach or take the kids for a swim at the nearest pool at Whitsand Bay Park.

Head to the friendly local pubs for great food and beer or spend an evening by the fire with board games and films via Netflix.

Why can't I call Sarah (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sarah (the owner) a message.

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
