This beautiful, newly completed first floor apartment enjoys some of the best possible views of Looe Harbour. Situated in the heart of the old town, the building was originally the main post office for Looe, so is extremely well placed for all local shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also particularly convenient for the quayside, main beach, picturesque Looe Valley Railway, local ferry service and the points of embarkation for numerous river and sea trips - all of which are within a few minutes stroll along level ground.

The accommodation comprises a combined kitchen, dining area and sitting room, as well as a double bedroom and bathroom, with high quality furnishings throughout. The most striking feature of this property is the spectacular panoramic view afforded by the very large oriel window in the main living area. Its integral window seat provides an ideal spot to sit and watch the fishing and pleasure boats as they make their way to and from the sea.

Much creative thought has gone into determining the decor of this superb apartment; the result being a well-crafted blend of the contemporary and traditional, with the emphasis on style and comfort. The contemporary fitted kitchen comprises high gloss units with built in appliances, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and combined washer/drier. There is also a microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. The living space combines a dining area for two with a sitting room containing a comfy leather sofa, solid wood furniture and window seat. Entertainment includes wifi, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD, a CD/radio with iPod docking station and various up-to-date glossy guidebooks on Cornwall. The bathroom is luxurious and modern, containing a bath with power shower, w.c. and basin. Finally, there is the double bedroom, which is very well appointed with solid wood furniture, super linens and plenty of hanging and drawer space.

River View is a genuinely delightful place to stay, centrally located and providing couples with a perfect base from which to explore this most enjoyable and enchanting part of Cornwall.

Parking is available in a large public car park the Millpool just a few minutes away over the bridge. Millpool Car Park - from 1st April to 31st October a weekly ticket costs £39.69 and a monthly pass is less at £27.84, the daily rate is £5.70. From 1st November to 31st March the daily rate is £2.40. Tickets can be purchased over the phone on arrival.
