This stone cottage is on the edge of the town of Oughterard in County Galway and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.Dun na Ron is a stone detached cottage on the edge of the town of Oughterard in County Galway. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a family room with one double and one single bed, and a single room. There is also a kitchen with a dining area, sitting room with a dining area and a solid fuel stove, and an external utility. Outside there is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with a wooded area, patio, picnic equipment,furniture and a BBQ. Dun na Ron is a wonderful base for your Irish adventure.

Region: Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term great outdoors; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.

Town: The traditional village of Oughterard is found in the west of Ireland on the shores of Lough Corrib, at the start of the Connemara Mountain range and close to the famous Western Way. Home to the Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do, and located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is great for lovers of fishing. Just a short drive away in Roscahil is the pretty Brigit's Garden; with four main gardens and places to play, sit and relax, this is a great day out for all the family.
