Stable Cottage is a beautiful romantic flint period cottage set in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The stable dates to 1750’s and has been tastefully renovated over two floors. This traditional cottage sleeps two people in comfort and offers the perfect cosy retreat and ideal setting for couples seeking a relaxing holiday or a romantic break. This hideaway is ideal for short breaks and is perfect as a base for touring the picturesque Suffolk coastal area from the market town of Saxmundham.

Stable cottage is just 500 yards (5 mins walk) from the High Street, where there are a number of interesting independent shops. Parking is available on the road just outside the cottage or in nearby car parks.

This beautiful flint cottage, tastefully converted from a stable, is situated in the market town of Saxmundham on the Suffolk coast. This thriving town has a range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Ideally located for RSPB Minsmere and just a few miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coastline at Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh. Snape Maltings, with its famous concert hall and range of shops and galleries, is 4 miles. Perfect for a romantic break, it is also an ideal location for painting or photography holidays, walking, birdwatching, cycling or boating. Direct rail links to London, 90 minutes, from nearby Saxmundham Station. The Norfolk Broads, Norwich and Cambridge are within easy reach. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub 100 yards.

Why can't I call Tim and Lucy (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tim and Lucy (the owner) a message.

If Tim and Lucy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
