From the owner

Seaside View holiday apartment ideally situated a stones throw from the beach. From the minute you arrive you can sit and relax. Watching the sea whatever the season, it is always transfixing, either from the comfort of the open plan kitchen, lounge, diner or from your own small patio area with table and chairs.

There is one double and one twin bedroom, on request it would be possible to make it up as two doubles.The family bathroom has a bath as well as a shower over it with an anti slip mat provided.To the rear of the apartment there is a designated parking space for one car.It is a ground floor apartment although there are 8 small steps from the drive up to it.On arrival you will find a welcome package to make you feel right at home. Which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and spread.There is also a selection of toiletries in the bathroom. As well as a few basics in the kitchen, including foil, film, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and sandwich bags.

After your booking has been confirmed we are able to arrange reduced price Car Ferry crossings.

Once you have settled in there are lots of things to do just in the local area. There are two crazy golf courses open in the holiday seasons, summer water sports and incase the weather is wet open all year round there is an indoor play area for the children as well as plenty of 2p arcade machines to name but a few and these are all within a few hundred metres from the apartment.Away from the front you have got the Chine, Shanklin old village with its picturesque thatched roofs, the Theatre and much more.If you like walking you can have a stroll along the promenade to Sandown bay, right along to the Dinosaur museum, Browns golf course and Sandown Zoo. If you are feeling energetic you can walk back along the cliff path.You'll never get bored as then there is the whole Island to explore. There are miles of cyclepaths, footpaths and coastline. There is a good bus service running from Shanklin and the train that runs from Shanklin through to Ryde. With attractions such as Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was imprisoned, The Needles with it's chair lift down to the coloured sands, Queen Victoria's Island home Osbourne house the list is endless.Or lie on the lovely beach watching the sea gulls fly over and relax.There is a selection of attraction leaflets for you to parooze and bus timetable.

Peak summer July and August changeover day is on a Friday.

Why can't I call Mel (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mel (the owner) a message.

If Mel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
