Description

A modern, fully equipped luxury lodge, with panoramic river views. A bird watchers and fishermans paradise, the south facing deck with it's patio furniture and swing is a perfect place to admire the view. Less than 1 mile to the pretty market town of Stratford upon Avon, either take the river taxi (which is dedicated to this park) cycle or walk into the town. ( River taxi runs between April and end of October). A large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen with views across the river, flat screen TV, DVD, CD Player and beautiful fire place, fully equipped kitchen including Microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine. New plush mattresses on all beds. Bedroom 1 with double bed, ample fitted wardrobes, bedside lamps and ensuite bathroom, bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobe, family bathroom, there is also a sofa bed in the lounge. It also comes equipped with an iron and an ironing board plus an hair dryer for your convenience, the lodge is fully centrally heated for winter use. Towels and bed linen are provided. The lodge is in an ideal location for exploring shakespere's county, historic Warwick and the Cotswold's also the famous Wellsbourne market is only 7 miles away. If you wish to stay on site visit the brand new club house, there is over a mile and a half of free fishing on the river, just your fishing licence required which available at post office.

Getting around

There is a seasonal ferry boat that will take you into Stratford Upon Avon which is about a mile away. You can also walk there, or catch a bus if you prefer not to drive.

Interaction with guest

Access to the lodge is by using a lockbox at the right side of the front door of the lodge. Information will be mailed to you before your arrival. The property is located on the opposite side of the river to Tiddington, which is about 1 mile out of Stratford, and is by the HallMark Welcombe Hotel on the river side of the road.

This lodge is fantastic - in a beautiful location, tastefully furnished and is equipt with everything you could possibly need.We enjoyed a lovely family celebration weekend and would love to retuturn in spring/summer months to enjoy the outside facilities. Takeaway meal from riverside restaurant was very nice and the our celebration held in the function suite was amazing. Really good value accommodation.

This is a superb lodge in an excellent location. The lodge itself is well equipped and very comfortable. It's position next to the river is perfect. Sitting outside watching the wildlife and boats go by is very relaxing. Only a mile from Stratford which is a very nice place and close to Warwick, Leamington Spa and other places of interest. Only negatives were the temperamental wifi and that the river taxi stops running at 5 o'clock. Would recommend this to anyone and would definitely visit again.

This lovely lodge is located on the quiet and beautiful river Avon. Stratford is wonderful with so many things to see and do, places to eat and within easy reach of Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds. The lodge is perfect as its only a 3 minute drive into the centre of town. Would love to visit again.
