Oak Lodge is positioned down a lane from open moorland which lends itself to being able to explore the area on foot without the need to drive. It is an ideal location for those interested in walking, cycling, horse riding and enjoying the outdoors. The property is set back from the lane, situated beside a stream and has an outlook to garden and field. The lodge is detached, single storey and has been designed around a 'Carpenter oak' frame to maximise the open plan living area. The modern accommodation has full length windows providing ample light to the spacious living room and providing easy access to the outside. Underfloor heating maintains a comfortable environment within.

The fitted kitchen with breakfast bar is well equipped with a range of cooking utensils, electric fan cooker/ceramic hob, microwave, washer-dryer, dishwasher and fridge. The large double ensuite bedroom is enhanced with the detail of the exposed oak frame and posts. A comfortable pocket sprung mattress sits on the King size bed, the room is furnished with bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom is spacious with a walk in shower, heated towel rail, underfloor heating and storage dresser.

We respect guests privacy, and while we like to greet our guests, we also have a keysafe to access the property should we not be available, we send this code to guest near to the date of arrival. Lovely lodge for 2.

This was a lovely lodge. Beautifully furnished and equipped. Nice touches were the cake and milk/teabags ther when we arrived. Well placed for Tavistock . Dartmoor walks from the door.

Really nice place to stay, very clean and modern with a country feel, was close to the main house but was still quiet and private. Only down sides were there were no towels in the kitchen, only 1 mirr… More

Perfect place to get away from it all.

Had a lovely stay at oak lodge it was very clean and spacious. Beautiful location very quiet with lots of walks close by which was perfect for us and our dog Dexter.Thanks Naomi.

Beautiful lodge

The lodge was very comfortable, clean and homely with bread milk and things for breakfast to welcome us. Would love to stay again. Made very welcome by the owner.

Fantastic lodge in excellent location
May 2018

Would highly recommend this lodge- it is spacious, very clean, well looked after and well equipped. The location is great with the lodge set in a large garden, with countryside on your doorstep.

Why can't I call Naomi (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Naomi (the owner) a message.

If Naomi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
