From the owner

Spectacular detached, south facing luxurious holiday cottage with panoramic open countryside views and all year round, 7 person Hot Tub to stargaze from. To make this the perfect destination to retreat to we work with an advanced remedial massage therapist who can deliver medical acupuncture and cancer care massage either at the cottage or at her clinic at Coldingham Sands by prior arrangement. To ensure you and your guests can truly relax, retreat and unwind in style.

Only 5 minutes drive from the lovely sandy shore of Coldingham Bay with its multicoloured beach huts and St Abbs head nature reserve. The open plan kitchen dinning area has a light and airy feel, with imaginative and tasteful touches of style and luxury with a lovely boot room space and utility room with washer and dryer facilities for those that enjoy outdoor pursuits. And panoramic views from the magnificent dinning table. With a lovely kitchen island for the family to congregate round and Bose wireless music system. And a pantry to accommodate your family gathering.

The sitting room has a roaring log fire to relax in front of in the longhorn cow hide Egg chair or slouch on the beautiful white company sofa and enjoy a movie on the 60 inch 4K Smart TV and blue ray DVD player.

Copper nut cottage has 4 lovely bedrooms. Dancing dragonfly's- has 2 single beds which can be linked as a superking and space for 2 further single fold down beds to turn this into a family room with a large built in wardrobe and beautiful views over the fields. March Hare- is a cosy room with double bed and built in wardrobe with the white and company bed linen with roof skylight to stargaze from bed. Both Dancing dragonfly's and March Hare share a toilet accessed from the landing. The Old Trout is a large kingsize bedroom with ensuite shower room and built in wardrobe with panoramic views over the cheviot and lammermuir hills. Again this bedroom benefits from beautiful white and company bedlinen and luxury of a kingsize vispring divan bed. The 4th bedroom Ptarmigan is based in the ground floor off the living room and has amazing 180 degree panoramic views from a white four poster double bed with access directly to the garden and private patio space. On the landing at the top of the staircase there is a lovely library and reading space. And on the ground floor there is a luxurious family bathroom with over bath shower. Stair have stair gates at both bottom and top of stairs to ensure the cottage is child and pet friendly.

Copper nut cottage sits in extensive grounds within a beautifully maintained cottage garden full of butterflies and bumble bees. The 6 seater hot tub and outside dinning area is ideally placed to enjoy the wonders of the night sky, and the enclosed lawned garden area is ideal for children and pets. With parking for 2 cars in the driveway and 2 further spaces beside the neighbouring property.

This cottage can sleep up to 8 but can be rented with the neighbouring property to sleep 12

Due to close proximity to neighbouring properties I'm afraid we cannot accommodate Stag or Hen parties.

Coldingham Bay is a popular venue for Scotland's burgeoning surfing scene with boards and equipment for hire and lessons available. Spoilt for choice of activities nearby from fantastic hill walking in the Cheviot Hills to bird-watching on St Abbs Head, or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see puffins and seals, explore ancient Holy Island, Alnwick Castle or Edinburgh, under an hour's drive. Great cycling on quiet roads along the national cycling path route 76 and sea loch fishing available locally. Shops and pubs 2miles.

Dogs welcome with additional £20 supplement. Dog crate available, bowls provided. Dogs must be kept down stairs and out of beds. Max of 2 can be accommodated.

Sorry we are unable to accommodate cats due to allergy.
