5 BR / 3 BA (K, 3Q, 11S) - Sleeps 18 - The "Ocean Villas" started off as a the only bed n' breakfast and is now divided into 5 apartments. Ocean Villa #1 is the ground level ocean front unit. Enjoy direct ocean views from one of Edisto's first beach homes. A great property for a family reunion if you rent all the villas. This unit is at the front of the Ocean Villa complex facing the beach. The entry to the property is only 5 steps off the ground. You can enter the property through the sunroom or the kitchen. There is a large dining and living area in the center of the villa. The kitchen is off to the side of the dining area and contains 2 refrigerators and the washer/dryer. Behind the dining area is a full bath with a tub. Another bath is adjacent to this area of the property and has a tub/shower combo. There are 3 bedrooms on the left of the property and 2 on the right. A large sunroom (beach side) has several couches and built in singles beds. Beyond this is a nice deck area on the beach with a grill. The back left bedroom has a king and a single bed(with TV). This bedroom opens into another bedroom that has a queen size bed(no TV). Another door from this bedroom leads to a short hallway with a full bath(tub/shower). The bedroom on the other side of this hall has 3 twin beds(no TV). The front right bedroom has a queen bed(no TV). The fifth bedroom is next to this and has a queen and a twin bed.(no TV). If you are looking for a large, affordable beach front property, "Ocean Villa #1 would be a great choice.     Please know that Edisto Realty appreciates your business and are certainly sorry to see that you felt the owners of this property have not made necessary maintenance repairs and upgrades. We will certainly share your concerns with them. This property is on a pest control service contract with a local exterminating company and we would have been able to have them treat the home had we known there was a problem. The owner purchased this property a few years ago and has been updating during the off season. He is working unit by unit. With five different units and the age of the property this is a very challenging task. When booking your next stay please speak with a reservation staff member and we will do our best to help you select a home that might be more satisfactory for you.
